My.... veeeeee Sssssssss Eeeeeeee (Hahahahaha)

Yessssss... finally the Perodua Myvi has arrive. Well, hmmm... to be exact, the car arrived on last Friday. Hahaha... The first Perodua car in the family, the white colored Myvi SE with manual transmission which bears the same number plate like my dad's car. Hehehe... lol lol lol

Driving a manual car proves to be trickier than I thought. Its been like 3 years or so since I drove a manual transmission car except a few times of driving my friend's Toyota LE aka "bumblebee". While the clutch in her car is kinda weighted, the Myvi's clutch is extremely light which may be a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is that your ankle wouldn't feel tired during massive traffic jams. However the bad thing is that there isn't much "feel" but I believe I'll get used to it. The other thing that I need to get used to is the light steering. All and all, not a bad car la... though I would still prefer the Satria Neo over this car. Nevertheless, practicality comes first, I need a 5 door hatch compared to the Satria. Whether I like it or not, I'm left with no choice. Its going to be my transport to INTI for the coming 2 and half years.

As usual, I've been doing nothing lately and if there is something that I did, its killing time, reading automotive forums and watching TV series online. Anyway, I find it amusing when I browse through and read threads...
about Perodua and Proton cars. I notice that there is a group of Proton loyalist/supporter (whom I think is very immmature) and a group of Perodua loyalist/supporter (who is equally if not more immature than the Pro-Protons). For those who follow the updates of our local automotive industry and for those who don't, I bet you'd know that there is this craze about the MultiPurposeVehicle war. As we all know, Proton launched their Exora not too long ago but Perodua will be launching their 5+2 seater vehicle, based upon the Passo Sette/Boon Luminas next week.

Hmmmm... the Pro-Protons are bashing up the soon to be launched, yet to launched Perodua MPV. You can see loads of negative comments or insinuations such as poor handling, tight third row seat and the lack of crash testing and etc etc etc. The Pro-Peroduas on the other hand would be bashing up the Exora for its poor reliability, underpowered engine and etc etc etc. Well, in my honest opinion, fighting over whose car is better is like saying that I've a BIGGER dick than yours. Geez... freedom of choice, freedom to purchase. If you feel that the Proton is better, then enjoy your drive and shut up. You don't have to give negative comments about the other car. And for god's sake, those Perodua supporters, can't you just love your Perodua and leave Proton alone. Give Proton a chance. Albeit at a slower pace compared to other automobile manufacturers from Korea or China, Proton is showing signs of improvement.

P/s: To all Perodua Myvi owners out there, there is a high probability that you might lose both your airbags one day. There is a suspected flaw in the car which enable car thieves to steal the airbags and hell they will cost an arm and a leg to be replaced. Malaysian car thieves sudah tentu Boleh!!! Stealing airbag...

Just another random update

Hey, remember a few post ago I did say that a lot of my friend's birthday falls in the month of October? Well, it applies very much to the month of November too. This post comes in 2 days late. 2 days ago, or November 12 happens to the birthday of my good friend and ex-college mate, Ai Fern. So Happy Birthday, and though you're not in Malaysia, I do hope you had a blast over there. Yesterday, was my cousin's birthday. So Happy Birthday to my cousin too, Janice... you have a blast too.

So did I mention that my bike is in the workshop now? Sigh... well, that is the cost of owning a 15 years old bike. There's nothing much I can do about it, a new bike in Malaysia would cost at least RM50k so a RM20k plus 15 years old bike is all that my dad could afford for me. Anyhow, the reason it ended up in the workshop is due to a leaking oil seal on the final drive shaft. A small tiny rubber seal that prevents oil from leaking over to the shaft casing, and due to the rareness of the bike and the usage of parts of special sizes, its stuck in the workshop until at least Tuesday evening. Lets just pray and hope the bike will be repaired a.s.a.p.

Aiyaaa... I am damn lazy to update this blog la... haizzz... Anyway, nothing much to update you guys. Major stuffs include, my application for the degree program offered by INTI and dad selling off the sick Proton Waja. At first, I wanted to get the Proton Satria Neo, but dad protested saying that it was too cramp. Then we planned to get the Myvi with full accessories. Later, dad changed his mind, he wanted the Myvi Wagon, some say Alza. Then today, we changed our mind again, and at last, we are getting the Myvi SE, Manual solid white in colour. The car is expected to arrive by next week or in about 10 to 12 days time.

I went out with a bunch of my classmates from SXI on Saturday night. We visited this place called Zenzibar or something like that at UPR. 4 towers, 2 beers and 2 cocktails. Whatever it is, I really outdone myself this time... mabuk kao kao... hahahaha.

So, will update you guys soon about my INTI application and my new car.

This year is not the same like last year. In fact, the years coming will never be the same like last year.

Whoa..... its been such a long time since I update. Guess nothing much is really happening in my life lately. I'm not working and neither am I studying. I am just slacking away. Anyway, a birthday wish to my own self first, LOL... I am 20 now, still very very young. I'm eagerly waiting for the next 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months or a year to be precise for my 21st birthday before getting the key everyone is talking about. And one more thing, thanks a lot to all those who wished me (appreciate it very much), and more thanks to the friends (07, March and June) who celebrated with me.

I've bought the Puma shoe I promised myself. I am very very happy until I found out that there's a sticker with a statement "Made in China" on the side of the shoe box. Argh!!!!! My Puma shoe is made in China. Why??? Its not that I can't accept that its made in China, but its China that we are talking about. Duhhh!!! I am starting to talk crap and make no sense here. By all means I am not anti-China, I finally come to terms with the made in China thingy. I keep telling myself, what is not made in China nowadays, nothing.

The Speed Cat 2.9 Winter (whatever that is)

I'm planning to get another reward for myself. A new helmet from Givi. Well, I couldn't afford the Airoh Mathisse RS that I wished for last year so I've to be satisfied with a demi-jet from Givi. Launched on the Saturday night after the MotoGP Sepang qualifying session, I still couldn't find any of the helmets being display at any shops. I did ask the shop owner (an authorised Givi dealer, who happened to receive one free helmet for attending the launch), and according to him, the helmet wouldn't arrive until for at the least the next 2 weeks. I am so going to wait patiently for the helmet.

Been fishing a lot lately. Guess my birthday really brings me luck. Caught a lot of swamp crabs and catfish (aka sembilang or 'tohsat'). Seafood dinner every night for the past 4 night d. Yummy. Will upload the pics of the catch soon.
