Work hazard OR Injury prone?
>> Monday, September 28, 2009
After much thought, I am back in helping my dad with his work. Come to think of it, working outside, inside an office, being a clerk or assistant, be it a marketing or admin job with my current qualification (a diploma holder *who doesn't speak or write chinese*) wouldn't offer me a reasonable pay too. RM20 for 4 hours, and I still need to look at the supervisor's face. Ya right, as if... That said though, it doesn't imply that I'm getting a lot from working with dad and I still get yelled at. Hahaha...
It's been some time too since I last helped him with his work. 2 years I think. Throughout my entire diploma course, I didn't really offered any help at the work site. Anyway, being back after a long break I'm kinda rusty. Body ache, pain at the joints, all and all... tiring. Besides that, I'm not as good as I was previously. Perhaps I've forgotten all the advice. Below are a list of injuries that I've sustained being back at work site in the past 2 weeks.
1. Accidentally punctured my hand with a nail
2. Accidentally cut my hand with a rusty piece of roof zinc
3. Accidentally cut and poke my knee with reinforced concrete netting
4. Accidentally burned my hand with a hot steel rod
Well, like what they always say, accident happens... SHIT HAPPENS... lol
