David's party

OCTOBER... If I'm not mistaken, most of my friends and the people I know are born in the month of October. Every year, throughout the entire month, I'm expected to receive lots and lots of mails from Friendster and Facebook reminding me of my friends birthday. That said, speaking for myself, I'm also an October baby. Anyway, today, October 4 happens to be the birth day of one of my ex-classmates and friend, David Yap. Besides that, today also happens to be the one year anniversary of me being really drunk and kinda wasted and damnnn..., I've been blogging for a year already now. Hmmm... I could still remember, my very first post in the previous blog (which is now defunct) was a day after David's birthday party.

Anyhow, I'll be blogging about David's birthday party again. If we had the party at the beach last year (which was freaking messy, sticky and yucky; a big LOL), this year, David rented a service apartment. How's that for a start? Hehehe... Instead of the sea breeze, we opted for the air conditioner. The chill box was not needed this year, we've a fridge. Hahaha... and not forgetting the convenience of relieving ourselves in a toilet (using the toilet at the atap house cafe/bistro behind Paradise Hotel at a cost of 20 cents last year, which is another big LOL).

Going to the food now. If we took our dinner at Northam Beach Cafe last year, this year we ate in the service apartment. 8 large sized pizzas from Domino, lots of cream puffs, a big portion of fried maggi (courtesy of David's mom) and definitely loads of junk food Twisties to kacang tanah Cap Tangan, hahaha...

For the drinks, we have a few bottles of carbonated drinks, a carton of Oranjeboom lager beer and 3 bottles of liquor. But I've got to say, I really really enjoyed the beers. Oranjeboom can kick some ass, LOL. For the cakes, there were no cakes this year. There is a cake, but it was smashed all over David's face, hahaha... it happens every year, its becoming a tradition.

What I like about the party:
Meeting friends, some that I've lost contact with since secondary school
The card game, and ping pong piang
Definitely the beer

What I dislike about the party:
Fucking braggers
Investment seller??? WTH???
Childishness, immaturity... (a big LOL)

P/s: Just helping a friend. Ladies, you might wanna check out http://the-loopz.blogspot.com/ for their opening promotion.
