Pain... I went through hell in the past two days

First and foremost, Happy birthday to my blogger friends/ex-coursemates, Su-Lyn and Fiona. I wish them best of luck in all their future undertakings and may all their wishes come true.
That's it... and now back to me. PAIN. That is all I've felt for the past two days. PAIN. Having decided to change my orthodontist, I should have seen this coming. I was very much well aware of the consequences, being told that another 3 teeth extraction is required. Despite that, I went ahead with it. I went ahead cause I've had it with my previous orthodontist. I'm not going to reveal much here but I'm just going to ask you just one question. How can you still get your treatment from a doctor that hide things from you and not being honest with it?

Anyway, I've to say, this new orthodontist which also happens to be my dad's friend is awesome. She may not be as well known as Dr Looi but I'm pretty sure I'm under good hands. I think I'll get the results that I want and I'm really looking forward to it.
I had 2 teeth extracted yesterday. I don't think I've to mention the pain again. Scaling is also very very painful. It couldn't stop bleeding for hours and I had to return to clinic to have something stuff inside my gum. The bleeding then stops for a couple hours and it resumes again during midnight, causing stains all over my pillow. I didn't sleep through the night, having to bite a gauze to stop the bleeding and it finally stopped at 10 a.m this morning. If you're wondering why I am ranting so much, I didn't ate a single thing the entire night. I couldn't. 11 am and I am back to my orthodontist to fix back the wires. I notices that she uses a different technique. Anyhow, the pain is still there. In fact it got worse after the wires are fixed. We'll see how it goes, another teeth to be extracted next week.
P/s: If you're wearing dental braces currently, and if you're a patient of Dr. Looi, mind if I suggest you to get a second opinion from another orthodontist. Consult another person and see what he/she has to say about what Dr Looi has done for you. Maybe he/she could point out a thing or two that Dr Looi might have missed out.
